While doing this tag Another Tag it made me want to do a quiz!

Answer these questions without cheating.

History:

- The city of St. Petersburg (in Russia) changed names twice (in 1914 and then in 1924) before returning back to St. Petersburg. What were those two names?

- "In God we trust" is the American motto nowadays. But what was the first American motto before that one? (hint: it was in Latin). 

- Sometimes identified with the sun; who is the Greek God of prophecy, music, medicine, and poetry?

- Who first discovered America? (It was NOT Columbus) And what was the name they gave to this 'new' continent? 

Geography:

- Name the 5 North African countries.

- Name 8 countries that border Russia.

- Name the sea that borders Europe and Africa.

Harder questions:

- Name 5 countries of west Africa.

- Name 5 slavic countries (Center and Eastern Europe)

- Name 5 countries in Southeast Asia. 

- Name the sea between Southeastern Europe and Western Asia.

- Name the sea between Africa and Asia.

Pop culture / Music:

- Who is the most famous English band from the 60s? (this one is too easy. XD)

- If you're American: Name 4 Canadian singers / groups (and DON'T say Justin Bieber! XD) / If you're Canadian: Name 4 American singers / groups. If you're neither: Name 2 American groups and 2 Canadian groups.

- Name 3 J or K-pop groups.

- If you're not French: Name 3 French singers / groups. If you're French or familiar with French culture: Name 10 groups.

- If you're not English: Name 5 English singers / groups. If you're English or familiar with English culture: Name 10 groups.

Bonus: Art history:

- Name the most famous Italian painter of the Renaissance. (his names starts with an M).
