Notice how the people who voted to leave are afraid of "european immigration"... 
"People are trying to reclaim how great Britain was, but I think it's just stupid, they're still living in the past, and it's 2016 you know what I mean."







In short London voted to remain, Scotland voted to remain, Northern Ireland voted to remain. So it was not a unified UK that voted to leave, which is why there are so many people that are shocked with the results.

Because the sheer irony was too good an opportunity to pass up.
